MURMUR

I can’t see it but I know its fading,
These solemn faces are my mirror,
This hospital it has a hum,
That grows louder with every day,
But I’d like not some murmur,
But your voice to be the last thing I hear,
For one last time

Things are harder, moving slower, ,
But you I feel, sometimes I pretend,
I don’t want to forget your name,
To have to be reminded of memories I hold,
I’d like for not some blur,
But for your face to be the last thing I see,
For one last time
